interruptus

An experiment in which different image sequences or storylines are played out at the same time, but depending on when the audience chooses to blink, they will follow one series of events or another. The result is an audience that can see the same film, but will come away from the viewing with completely different experiences after having seen it.

HELTER SHELTER

After we graduated from high school, a classmate of mine fell on hard times and became homeless. He turned to writing as an escape from life on the streets. We reconnected and decided to collaborate to tell his story through poetry.

FIVE

An experiment in directing performance and playing with structure. This short plays out in four shots. The first image features one character, the second has two, the third has three characters, etc. Each character stays within their own quadrant. Each layer adds another element to the story.

Another experiment dealing with time. Locked off cameras that capture the creative and the destructive are presented to the viewer at the same time through alternating frames of video.
